Its defining feature is, true to its name, a run structure that never resets. Most roguelites wipe your progress at the end of each attempt, but here the characters you have trained carry straight into the next run. The more cycles you play, the more reliably powerful your roster becomes—a system of "stacked growth" sits at the heart of it all, and the reassurance that effort is never wasted gives the game its own brand of quiet addiction. The basic loop is to repel enemy waves with up to 9 distinctive heroines. Rather than placing defensive units alone, the game also carries an action-RTS feel: you move the main character directly, have them attack, and direct unit formations—that interplay forms the core of the experience. Combat rewards come via card draws paid for with mana, and you choose from options such as permanent boosts to HP, attack power, and attack rate, or new ability acquisitions, picking whichever suits the situation at hand. Not a tower defense game. This is wrongly tagged imo. As for the game itself: Not the best game ever, but it's fun enough. Learning the game, improving all the characters and getting to higher rounds is satisfying. It plays like a roguelike where you control the character's movement and it attacks automaticaly, and after every round you pick a buff from a random selection. There's a lot of visual novel style dialogue as well which is nearly all cute / feel good moments of the characters interacting, except for the initial story event which is really dark and cruel and feels completely out of place because of that.
