the game bills itself as a tower defense but it is really more like real time strategy. you need to constantly manage your units: - you can order them to move to a location and guard there, but after a while they will wander away to chase enemies - you can heal your units by ordering them to return to base, which you need to do often because they will otherwise fight to the death - exp needs to be picked up by a unit AND brought back to a base before you can use it. units also have a maximum amount of exp they can carry - if you really want to, you can micro your units and avoid taking damage i'm 50/50 on whether i enjoy babysitting these dweebs or think it's not worth the stress, but maybe a real RTS fan will enjoy it. the game is quite rough when you're starting out. you'll unlock a lot of stuff that seems like it's diluting the pool of upgrades with junk, and some upgrades are worthless or even detrimental without other upgrades that you'll obtain later on. proto is cute though. maybe it's worth it to see her smile. i give it a thumbs up just for her, but maybe this game is just not for me.

Fun and challenging game with simple but cute pixel arts. You can take controls up to 5 characters who have their own skill set and upgrade to defense your base from the horde of enemies. There are 3 stages in the game each stage need 10 mins before you spawn the boss to fight. This is a combination of Vampire Survivor, Tower Defense and Auto Battler. I have fun playing it and I think it's worth the price tag perfectly. Only downside if I want to nitpick is that the AI in this game is really dumb. Most of the time I need to change control between 4-5 girls otherwise they just run out and die LMAO

An RTS rogue-like game where the goal is to survive 3 waves of attacks while protecting a tree of life at the centre of the stage, growing stronger in order to confront the boss at the end of each waves. There are 5 characters to control, but the player starts out with 1 and collect resources to summon more as the waves become more numerous. There is barely a story here. Progress unlocks additional power ups that shows up as choices. Control is intuitive, but the AI is braindead, so will require a lot of control in order to keep them alive. The artstyle is nice to look at, with detailed pixel art that brings out the uniqueness of the characters. It's a shame that the stages are so limited, so you will be playing the same 3 stages and bosses again and again. But for an indie game, this is good enough for a recommend.

A fun hidden gem. It's not a survivors-like, but a micromanaging tower defense of sorts, and quite challenging despite how cute the graphics are. The rewards/boons never scale into becoming ridiculously powerful, so you have to pay attention the entire run. Oh, and Jin is the best girl
