Full play here: https://youtu.be/fBacmq7S6KU Short here: https://youtube.com/shorts/bDIozmIxdcY A really well done game the creator did a great job with the story which gets pretty dark towards the end. The visuals are heckin' enjoyable I love the story book type cutscenes and the music is solid throughout. The game has a solid amount of challenge to especially if you play the final mode which gives the game a lot of replay value. I could only get to gold with the team I liked to use, but if you wanted to get to legend it's definitely going to take some team maximization, and solid timing it also has a leaderboard as well which is cool. The gameplay is pretty fun I will say towards the end of the story I was just starting to get a bit burnt out which means the game is about the perfect length for the style of game play. I definitely got my 11.69 worth and for people who like a challenge to take on the beast trial to climb the leaderboard you'll get even more value than I did.

Super charming and cute "tower defense game", although that genre might be a little misleading, because the way they designed the game emphasizes some pretty unique mechanics. Specifically, the core challenge of the game seems to be managing the timing of using your "tower's" special ability to keep a combo going. It's hard to explain in text, but when you have hands on experience along with the tutorial, it'll become pretty clear exactly what you need to do. The gameplay is fun, innovative and interesting, but what really shines for me in this game is all the polish and "juice". There are visual novel style cut scenes which really got me enthusiastic about the story. When the ending screen shows up, the animation with the two exclamation points and crown really makes you feel like you've accomplished something important. They also decided to give you your rewards as separate nodes on the map, instead of what most tower defense games do which is to give you rewards as like a line of text at the end of the level. This change makes it so that it feels like you're actually constantly getting rewards, inducing that dopamine rush. Again, the gameplay itself is fun, so I recommend this…
Moderately Casual Tower Defense
A previous title, Soul Dog TD, received a 36/40 score in a Famitsu cross review. Some visuals may feel a bit cheap, but the game itself strikes a good balance, neither too simple nor too complex, and with difficulty settings, it’s enjoyable for a wide range of players. The key to success is activating special moves in succession to build combos and increase damage. Story segments, such as conversations and flashbacks, are inserted between battles. Not required at all, but having played the previous titles makes the story more enjoyable.
Moderate Casualness
・Each stage can be completed in about 5 minutes. ・There are no complicated skill trees or cluttered equipment screens, keeping everything simple in a good way.
Difficulty
Can be changed at any time. The default is the highest difficulty, "Hero." Below that is "Adventurer," for tower defense beginners or those who want a stress-free experience. The lowest, "Novice," is for non-gamers or players who just want to enjoy the story.
Misc
Some parts of the graphics give off a cheap impression, especially enemies and bosses.

[…
