REDITUM

I'm surprised this game has only gotten a few reviews, given its mechanic of shifting the direction of gravity depending on the surface has been used in some other popular puzzle-platformers (for example, Manifold Garden, or the less well-known Disoriented). Reditum is fairly basic and has some control issues, like laser reflectors moving slightly out of place sometimes when you rotate, or the problem of only being able to select them when not facing their mirror side. But I like how you can instantly fall onto a block you placed in mid-air by facing the floor you're standing on, and flipping gravity from there. This lets you get into some useful vantage points, necessary sometimes because the map (M) can be quite confusing to look at. There unfortunately isn't a lot of visual variety in the environments, and only one piece of repetitive music. But these flaws for me are discounted by a very clever penultimate puzzle level, which asks you to use the directional blocks in a thoughtful way. If you like laser beam puzzles and block-stacking, get this in a sale.

Recommended, but only because I got it for very cheap at just €2,63 and because it's the only English-language review (at the time of writing there's only 2 reviews and they're in Turkish). I'd also try the demo before buying since it had tech issues on my system at least. Reditum is a fairly simple puzzler with exactly three mechanics: you can change the gravity in any of 4 directions, you can redirect lasers and you can move boxes. There are 24 puzzle rooms, all of which require you to either place boxes on a button or point a laser at a button. In some rooms, you have to do both. It's fairly cheap and short - I'd say about 2-3 hours. Overall, it doesn't cost much, doesn't go on for any longer than it needs to, and I enjoyed myself with the puzzles. Wouldn't hurt to pick it up if this sounds fun to you. It's also just nice to give small devs/games a chance. I'd be remiss not to mention the less good parts, though. The lasers have some issues and can sometimes stop reflecting properly when the room is rotated - this can be rather frustrating.
