The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse is a roguelite action RPG that creates a unique adventure for each new hero of legend in the relentless fight against the evil Mormo. Explore a delightful but dangerous overworld, brave menacing dungeons, and improve your hero in a charming village, during your quest to overcome the evil that plagues the island. Roguelite + Adventure RPG: Each adventure becomes its own legend, both distinct from those that came before it and part of a heroic legacy that bind together. The deeds, successes, and failures of each hero's adventure have implications for those that follow including the ability to find weapons and recover loot from history’s fallen heroes.
Solo & Local Co-Op: Battle Mormo and her evil armies alone or summon a brave friend to take up arms alongside you in local co-op mode. Fear not, even less experienced adventurers will find help from their fellow heroes through the magic of a good old-fashioned revival hug!
Weapons, Items, & Stickers: Wield the traditional sword and bow combo alongside the decidedly less traditional vinyl record Frisbee, magic golf club, and colossal foot from the heavens to put Mormo and her legions back on their heels. Collect and equip stickers to boost up your hero and add perks to their gear to become powerful enough to banish the wicked sorceress.
Main Quests and Secret Side Missions: Approach your legend however you see fit by battling through dungeons in any order, completing side missions through dark caverns and deep wells, or confront Mormo right from the start for the ultimate challenge.

the whole game wraps around a boss fight. it was cute, here and there some questionable collisions and hit windows, some nice mechanics - overall a nice experience... then you start the way to the boss... you level up, gear up, weaken the boss in a way, prepare for the tower you have to climb to get there... yet, the boss fight takes ages... for something that is the center of the game, to be done over and over again, it is just way too long. did the tour once and to be honest, the boss fight killed it for me. the worst of it all: [spoiler] the only reward for beating the boss - start over again... It's a really good game, one of my favorite indie roguelites. I only wish some more of the bugs were fixed and they expanded it a little more with additional content. This game flew so far under the radar that I don't ever see that happening, nor a sequel which would be AWESOME. Oh well. I still revisit it from time to time. If you are unsure, just wait for a sale. It usually gets a huge discount. I originally played this on Nintendo Switch and I caught it on sale on here for just a few dollars.2 found this helpful
keeps crashing at times, this time crashed because of this reason Call: GR_D3D_Device->CreateShaderResourceView at line 613 in file\TexturesM.cpp device lost - reason 0x887a0020 I am also getting "Out of memory" crashes as well, but I have 32gb of memory with not much open, it must be a game issue I use a laptop with dedicated and integrated graphics
Oh I like this game so much! Gameplay, music, sounds, design and visuals. I have so much fun. Can’t wait to play this game with my beloved ones^^
Stopped because I couldn't figure out what to do next, not just in one spot, like at all. Could be me. I liked running around in the drawing looking style, uncovered the different themed landscapes, each has some type of important monument / cave, unfortunately I had no idea how they all tied in together. Really confusing. A learning experience for me and probably the developers.
