About Repentant

Repentant is a dramatic point & click adventure game with hand-painted art.

Experienced criminal Oliver begins to suffer from strong remorse after the terrible deeds of which his family has suffered. Unsuccessful attempts to restore relations with his ex-wife further worsen his condition and alcohol dependence.
One day in a small shop, he becomes a witness of a robbery committed by a young girl. At this moment, he gets the opportunity to atone for his sins by helping another person. But who really needs help and who is the victim? It remains to be seen.

A short game that deals with human nature and a person trying to do something to set things right. The art style is great with a hand drawn look and music fits what is going on. The game is really short, but if your willing to live with that, it's something you can spend some time playing for it's story.

Ukrainian Indie game made by a solo developer. Repentant is a stand alone game that is kind of a sequel to "The Kite" but you can play without finishing it first. The art is nice and voice acting is good too. But is very short and simple, even for a point & click game. Illogical puzzles as is common in this genre, always hated this. Very amateurish game design, but the story was not that bad, but very short. For $1 you will get 1 hour of a decent experience.

Too short and bad game about a post-soviet alcoholic who likes to make a lot of morasltic speeches and ALWAYS decides to make what we don't want to. : -You don't want to call to his ex, because u know it will be waste of time? Too bad, he will do it anyway and eventualy lose a coin -You don't want to stop the robber, because u know it won't end well? Too bad, our hero decided he won't leave until he helps the cashier. After that they all regret that, but hey - we don't decide anything, we just find items and put them in right places, we have no free will. -You can't pick or use items in advance, so you gonna walk back and forth until some scripts are triggered and u finally can take the bowl, for example. And this annoying dream-maze. Oh, it was so annoying... The art sometimes is good (only when they show that blondie), there's at least some voice acting, but damn... it's so much linear. If the developer Anatolii Koval didn't do that, the game would be okay

Good game. Grim, but nicely drawn. It's a full-blown adventure game (albeit quite short), not a modern visual novel. Definitely worth a play.

A short little interactive fiction experience with drop-dead gorgeous painted graphics. From what I understand, it is a sort of epilogue to The Kite. I thought the first scene of this game was a bit of a letdown, but every other screen flowed smoothly for me. I enjoyed the art, music, tone, and general vibe of this brief encounter with bleakness.😊

I enjoyed this game, but I don't know if I would have for the full price. It's pretty short (finished within 2 hours and I'm the kind who needs to click everything and look everywhere). The art is lovely, the music is good, the puzzles are sometimes obvious other times a bit convoluted and forced, but overall a good experience. I would have liked it to have a "double click to next area" function instead of slow walking to the edge of the screen, but for such a short game, it's understandable.
