About REVEREX: DX
REVEREX: DX is the expansion and Steam release of the award-winning game, REVEREX.
The scientists at the Zlyodomov Biomedical Manufacture Concern (ZBMC) think they’ve created a device which can pull people out of comas: the REVEREX. As their top technicians, its up to you and a friend to operate the machine through it’s maiden voyage, ensuring the stability of your patient’s mind and body through the entire ordeal. Navigate stages rife with unusual geometry, shifting gravity, and strange visuals. Complete challenging maintenance tasks to make traversal easier. Get out again before the dream world, or your patient, are destabilized for good.- Run, Jump, and Parkour your way through the dream world.
- Work with your Vitalist to stay buffed and complete the operation.
- Execute stunts, skips and gravity defying tricks to reach the end before your patient is destabilized.
- Master minigames to keep your Navigator & patient stable.
- Clear debuffs as fast as you can to keep the simulation going.
- Give the Navigator powerful buffs to allow skips and access to hard-to-reach spots.

I really wanted to like REVEREX DX, but this game is a technical disaster. Constant crashes, freezes, and bugs make it nearly unplayable. It feels like I’m QA testing instead of actually playing. Random crashes to desktop every 5 minutes. UI glitches and game-breaking bugs everywhere. Performance is all over the place. Feels unfinished. It’s a shame because there’s potential here, but right now, it’s not worth your time unless you enjoy frustration. Maybe it’ll get patched, but I’m not sticking around to find out. Do not recommend sadly.3 found this helpful
"REVEREX: DX" is a weird 2 player 3D rendered platformer thing with minigames and platforming. Let's face it, this is totally unplayable, it needs two people, and if you ask your friends to play stuff like this, you soon won't have any friends. What do you do in the game? You play as Lab Technicians operating a coma treatment device, exploring the subconscious to rescue a patient. Gameplay, which involves platforming, navigating environments with shifting gravity, completing maintenance tasks, and performing stunts, is certainly not a strong selling point... none of this is implemented well, and it's a buggy, janky mess of a game. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform …1 found this helpful

Is a really fun game if you enjoy janky speedrun stuff, my friend and I intended to just get on the leaderboard then spent hours testing the games limits and ended up getting second on the board. Some of the most fun I've had speedrunning, it's cool to see 2 player games like this becoming more of a theme.1 found this helpful
Basically unplayable due to frequent freezing/crashing.
Not the cleanest experience, but certainly not one I'm soon to forget. I think alot could be done with the features on display.
