Nice and short Not that hard either Cool monster taming game, the combat is simple but it works Only real negative I have with this game is the dungeons; those are kinda lame Balancing is kinda weird too, like, you get the best puppet in the game right at the beginning, like, sure, alright But it's fine, and it's not long enough for any of that to be a problem Will be checking out the sequels

When I was browsing games by NIS, I accidentally found this. I watched the trailer and was instantly hooked on, especially the music used in the trailer. First time I've ever seen a musical strategy RPG. I was like, "I need that!" After playing through the story, I fell in love with the characters and the world they inhabit. Cornet is so cool. I got to see that she was someone who is kind, caring, but also determined and steadfast. But the story would be nothing with the musicals. OMG, I love the songs here, they're very nice to listen to. My two favorites are called "Our World" and "Thank You". One of the main villain, Marjorly, was really funny. I mean, she was evil for kidnapping the prince, but she just gets no respect from the three people that's under her command (Myao, Gao, and Crowdia). Now, the combat is I think one of its biggest weakness. If you have played any Disgaea, then this is pretty similar. There are many different puppets and monsters that you can acquire and many of them can use magic that costs mana to cast. The trouble is that the enemies are way too easy. Loved this RPG since the PS1 and so happy it got remastered!

I'm really glad that I found this little gem. A little research tells me this came out back in 1998 for the original Playstation and I feel had I had it then I probably wouldn't have appreciated how truly wonderful this RPG is. This is a beautifully crafted RPG. The Musical Score is genuinely really good, a little too up-beat for me a lot of the time but there are a few darker beats that come into play as you get deeper into the game. My only real quibble is the Dungeons. Now i'm an Oldschool RPG fan. I know the drill, I know the score. It's Pen and Paper time as we draw up our own maps in the caves/dungeons but for a lot of people newer to the scene who've had the joys of those quality of life improvements that can be problematic and put people off. I implore you all not to though, this is just as good an RPG as Breath of Fire IV. You owe it some time, and it's not much time either, I beat this in 10hrs flat. Probably could've been sooner had the Dungeons had maps.

My childhood, fantastic game, sweet, funny and emotional. Gameplay is great and if you need a feel good game, this is it.

This was a great game to play through, I liked the story and the game is pretty easy to play through although i did sometimes get lost to what i was meant to do but apart from that it was great and i'd recommend picking this up to play and i will be playing the others.
