About RICO

Two cops, one case and only 24 hours to take them down... can you score the bust of a lifetime? Take the role of a loose cannon police detective and face off against criminal gangs in an exciting procedurally-generated action movie FPS. Join forces with a friend, online or locally, and take down those crooks in true buddy-cop style!
As a part of the RICO task force, your mission is clear: get in, take down the criminals and get out again. Sounds easy, but it's not - procedurally-generated cases mean you'll never know who or what's waiting for you. Pick your load-out, then use the element of surprise to get a tactical edge over the enemy. Unlock new weapons, mission types and traits, or dive into Daily Play and see how high you can climb the cop rankings!
- Take down criminal gangs with extreme prejudice and solve the RICO case - you've only got 24 hours, detective!
- Procedurally-generated cases mean no two games are ever the same - you'll never know what's waiting for you.
- Crack cases with a friend, either online or locally, for co-op carnage. Two loose cannons are always better than one!
- Daily Play cases - with leaderboards and rewards - keep you coming back for more, along with unlockable weapons, traits and mission types to discover.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players describe this arcade FPS as a fun concept with decent shooting mechanics, but are divided on its overall quality and value. The main complaints center around the game being unfinishable solo, poor server connectivity requiring peer-to-peer solutions, and limited content variety in daily objectives, with several reviewers suggesting there are better alternatives available for the price.
Unless the developers allowed Peer 2 Peer connections for players to continue playing and completely randomized cycling of potential daily objectives, I'm afraid I'll have to give this otherwise fun game a thumbs down. The game could absolutely make a comeback, and I'd be grateful to see it but the game is impossible to finish on your own.5 found this helpful

tl/dr I'd only recommend it on discount Rico is janky co-op rouge-like fps kind of like slay the spire. Each level being a randomized maze with a few 4 random themes with sub-objectives that can get you points to unlock more weapons during your run. As you play these levels get harder with more reinforcements being triggered and longer levels. You get a map where you can plan entries in rooms with slow motion. There is also quick missions, random daily challenges, and lockdown wave based mode. On paper this sounds great but it becomes repetitive after a few runs. Also the rng can absolutely kill runs with bad selection of weapon choices, enemies constantly respawning in your path till you run out of ammo, or with the infamous defusal sub objective being spread across a giant level, which can end a run. Other problems include hitboxes for some weapons projectiles being slightly offset to the right, attacks going right through enemies up close, or attacks not registering during slow motion. Some weapons are terrible to use as enemies aim bot and respond too fast. At $20 its hard to recommend unless you really are interested in something more experimental. If it's on sale it'…
