What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game as a solid sequel with improved controls and weapons over the original, describing it as fun and entertaining for a few hours. However, common complaints include significant bugs like invisible enemies and broken mechanics, severe weapon imbalances where the default pistol outperforms specialized weapons, horrendously repetitive level design with only four rooms repeated per act, poor controller support with no button mapping display, and clunky movement mechanics that lack a tutorial to explain them.
Playable, with several bugs littered throughout the game. To give an easy example, a death in Normal difficulty is supposed to delete your save, but It doesn't. The worst offender is that the guns have wild imbalances. The default pistol is more effective than a SAW machine gun...for everything. Buying guns is practically useless since the game decides what counts as a sidearm and what doesn't. You'll often run out of ammo and most weapons I'd assume are sidearms are primary weapons in this game. 5/10 Limited replay value to do low variety of options/weapons. Isn't a terrible 1-2 hour experience.1 found this helpful
PLEASE DONT BUY THIS GAME, like many of you i enjoyed RICO, but this trash, the glitches the invisible enemies its trash.1 found this helpful
There's really not much to this game at all. I was sorely disappointed. To begin with, if you're playing with a controller, there is no way to check the button mapping. This means you're left flailing around trying to see what does what and how it works with the gameplay. There are some dynamic movements you can do like diving and jumping, but they're clunky and awkward. Without being able to see the controller bindings in the options menu this game could have used a simple tutorial to show you the ropes. The game is horrendously repetitive. You're supposed to be battling your way up the inside of a high rise office building. Every act has all of 4 different rooms which are repeated ad nauseam until you clear that act. Every subsequent act repeats this pattern with different themes for the rooms. The first act when the characters force their way into the lowest level of the tower it's parking garage, utility, and storage. Next are offices. That's about as far as I made it. The game hangs its hat on a door breaching mechanic in which you force open every door and for a few seconds you're given slow motion, supposedly giving you an advantage over the enemies in each room. This isn't…1 found this helpful
the graphics is like a cartoon ans has your own merit, but the maps is so repetitive, seems to be playing a poor counter strike. The game level is not easy. approved, but is not a GREAT FPS game1 found this helpful
I love the first game and now I love the second one. I hope they make a third one. Second one is mostly just the first one with improved controls and weapons. Its just basically an upgraded version of original. But still pretty fun.
Great stuff, as good as first. Id say i like this more than the first, and i played plenty of that.
