I've been hoping for quite some time that the dev would revisit this game, but sadly I've been waiting a long time and haven't seen any updates since v1.0 release 2yrs ago. This game was actually pretty fun so not sure what happened. Was this just a proof of concept for another game? Did Vizzini give up for some reason? Financial problems? My main gripe is that it's only about 30 minutes long and that's kinda sad to see all that effort wasted with so much potential for a really great game. I'd easily pay $35 for this game if it were to do a v2.0 relaunch with 15-20 hours of additional gameplay. The controls are what you expect, the world looks awesome and the overall idea is good. Please do something more with this game! It's free and maybe only has 30 minutes to an hour of gameplay, so it's hard to not recommend this game...but I also wouldn't recommend it either. I hope the dev sees this and gets inspired to stay at it!

I was genuinely enjoying my time with Rise of Koreth. It made me explore out of genuine curiosity rather than blatant need, the combat was decent, it ran surprisingly well, and the areas were very well designed with a fun focus on verticality that isn't seen in a lot of souls-like games. Then I fell off a cliff and died. And everything I had explored for- all of my potions and new equipment- had vanished. I do not have the patience to deal with that. Literal madness. I can't tell if that was a bug or *genuinely* intended, but that concept alone was enough to get me to immediately stop playing. I should also mention that for some reason the "options" button was broken and didn't open any options.

its about 20-30 minutes depending how long you take. Obviously built from some kind of template it seems. nothing really complex, its free so you take it with a grain of salt. Overall, for a free title and you want to kill some time for 20 minutes to completion sure. give it a go. [b]The cons, [/b] Because its built of a template, the controls are not really made for this type of game. pressing buttons 1,2,3 shouldn't be bound to those keybindings, and there no way to change it. Why not right click or middle scroll click etc. many better options to pick from. You fight 3 enemies, a Skeleton, Wrath, Boss skeleton. and you also dodge cannons that fire at you, but not really an enemy. You have a shield but I have no idea how to use it. and apparently there is sprint, but you are always kind of sprinting. so there isn't really any visual cues to how that works. Ultimately your hits do not feel impactful its just a health bar that comes down. its free, nothing really crazy on offer would recommend to kill time.

Hey guys, I have to be honest. I know it hurts, but it needs to. No settings in the main menu? Okay, maybe you are just touched in the head. Having my eardrums blown out by the main menu music with no way of lowering the volume? Maybe I am touched in the head for playing this game. Having your character grunt loudly with EVERY swing is cringe and sounds gross. 🤢 ₣ You can just tell the developer has no idea what physical labor looks or sounds like. 🐒 µ In-game, settings button does NOT work, ok cool that's hard to do ... HUUAAHH??!! 💩 ℃ One armor set, one model; still clipping with every animation. Impressive HUUAAHH??!! 💩 ķ The health bar, stamina bar, and Viagra bar take up 22% of the screen. HUUAAHH??!! 💩 YOU Music still sucks and I can't disable it. You take inspiration from better games then shame them. HUUAAHH??!! 💩 ✡️ Whoever made this is dumb, lazy, or talentless.
