Robot Rumble 2

game only came with 5 bots only 2 of which were decent enough to actually play the game. bot maker is very hard to use and requires a lot of skill that casual players likely wont have

This is the game I wanted growing up watching copious amounts of Robot Wars. The physics are really fun to mess around with, I haven't seen another game replicate that visceral feel when two spinners connect but this game does it so well. Flippers are also a lot of fun and you can get some real power behind them which feels great. The community made bots are also excellent (sucks that there is no steam workshop support but the discord is easy enough to navigate and find what you want). A few tweaks that I would love to see added if there are any devs reading this (maybe these exist and I am just not seeing them): The ability to default P3 and P4 to AI driven rather than user driven. A better slider for volume, I have it almost all the way down and it is still very loud. A variety of sounds that play when robots collide, hearing the exact same sound every time can get a bit boring. Crusher physics would be on a dream list but that seems very hard to implement well so I understand why it is missing. If you are at all interested in combat robotics like I am then absolutely give this a go!

Tism Scratched, Robot builder is difficult to use though, still after 300 some hours of playing I'm still not the greatest at it
