About Rock, the Tree Hugger
"Rock, the Tree Hugger" is a casual arcade-style game where you must "save" humans and "hug" trees all while rushing against an impending forest fire in increasingly harder levels.
The goal of "Rock, the Tree Hugger" is to "save" a certain number of humans and "hugging" a certain amount of tree score.
You are a rock rolling around colored forests with one goal: avoid the fire; and "save" humans, AND "hug" trees!
You control the rock by holding down left-mouse button and moving the mouse around.
Green trees give you normal score.
Red trees speed you up, like taking Methamphetamine.
Blue trees slow you down, like after taking Methamphetamine.
Yellow trees give you double score.
Orange trees reduce your size, like working out.
Purple trees increases your size, like eating donuts.
Humans increase your 'save humans' score. Save has apostrophes for a reason...
Fire will kill you. Don't touch fire.
Can you hug all the trees, and save all the humans?

This is a very low effort Unity low poly 3D rolling ball/physics/puzzle game where you roll a boulder over trees and people. Find, then roll over all the people to finish each level. Rolling over different coloured trees changes your boulder (bigger, smaller, faster, slower). This really is an attempt to find the lowest level of quality and effort that could be put into a game before Valve thinks it's perfectly okay for Steam. The game includes the joke price of $5 USD for this bundle rubbish. Sheer comedy.3 found this helpful
The game has only a couple mechanics that aren't explored or built upon at all during the 15 short levels. You've seen everything within the first 2 minutes, then you've completed it in the next 10. The UI was, both in-game and the menus, hobbled together as an afterthought. $5 for this is absurd.2 found this helpful

Tags: Casual - Marble Routing Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: UI unresponsive when fullscreened. No sound effects. Limited music variety. Click on rocks to roll over pedestrians until you reach quota. Primitive looking. When fullscreened clicking on level buttons does not do anything. No sound effects. Music was marginally interesting retro video gameish midi sounding but short sampling. Thankfully the loop was not easy to spot and it was not grating. Mechanically you click somewhere a rock rolls around and you crush trees and humans until you meet a quota, meet your quota before the walls of the world collapse in on you. 15 short levels. Visually looks very plain and cheap 3D. Almost like a failed proof of concept. Removed for library declutter.2 found this helpful
