About Rocket Jump
Rocket Jump is a platform game that requires concentration and composure. Your goal is to get as high as possible, avoiding spikes and various obstacles. Think carefully about your next move, any mistake can cost you a lot of nerves and time. The higher you are, the further you can fall.
Various levels
Each next level is different from the previous one. With each new level you will come across more difficult jumps and more difficult obstacles.
Physics
Make the best use of physics. Sometimes it's worth bouncing off something to get somewhere. Unfortunately, gravity will not be your friend.
Traps and obstacles
Avoid traps like fire. Death is not at hand. Why die and pass a level again?

Rocket Jump is an extremely challenging precision platformer with simple mechanics centered around cannon-based movement that appeals strongly to players seeking difficult, skill-based experiences. However, players are divided on whether the difficulty is fair, with complaints about rigid controls, lack of checkpoints causing repeated progress loss, and frustration that even small mistakes send you back to the start. While some appreciate it as a legitimate test of skill, others find the punishment system too punishing and the novelty wears thin after extended play.
Rocket Jump is a bloody tough nut to crack. If you're a fan of simple but tough to beat games, and can afford to replace a few thrown controllers, try your luck with it. Apparently it can be beaten in half an hour but I spent more than an hour on the first level. Rocket Jump's a fantastic game for masochists. Mechanics are simple but the game requires absolute precision and is very unforgiving of even small mistakes. If you like a challenge, give it a go. - Very rigid controls - No checkpoints - You fall back into the very start of the game repeatedly This game could be fun but chose not to. I can't quite figure out how to jump over the first spikes with these awful controls, and every time I don't make the jump I fall straight to the beginning losing all progress and having to climb back up for a few minutes. I am terrible at this game, but I can't really blame the game for that. This is one of those super difficult platformers where you propel yourself by shooting your little canon in various directions to give yourself the thrust you need to get up the platforms. It's definitely tough and not for the faint of heart, but it is well-designed and allegedly fun. I will say, I felt like the 2 chord piano soundtrack was mocking me after a while.
Fun mechanic, but the game gets really boring after an hour or two. Definitely worth 0,39 euros though.
