MIXED at best. Its certainly much better than that OTHER RKA 'game' on Steam, it has the originals, but bloody hell, what a BAD job porting! The menus are wonky, theres no option to set controls, the sounds can get glitchy, and dont hit pause or get your ears assaulted badly! Really wish theyd actually FIX this and make it what it should of been to start with!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!!!! RKA and Sparkster have been some of my fav Mega Drive games ever since I was a kid and I was so happy to finally get to play the SNES version as well. Thank goodness that there's a rewind function that saved my butt in more situations than I would like to admit! It worked perfectly fine with my Xbox controller (except each game's start menu for some reason lol) and I especially love the little museum and music sections that allow you to dive in deeper the games' history and listen to some absolute bangers! (RKA1's stage 6 and 7 OST? Chef's kiss.) I do have to agree with the previous reviewers that the price is way too high though, so I definitely recommend buying it when it's on sale. I feel like if they had also included the 2010 Rocket Knight, then it would have been a fair price. All in all I had a very nice experience (re)playing these, just like I did in my childhood! This series is criminally underrated, so I feel like this collection is a good opportunity for new players to get to know it too. Please get it if one day you just feel like being a cute flying opossum :D

These games are some of the best in the 90's and I'm glad they brought them back in for the rest of people who haven't played or don't own an old console. Little pricey but other than that it is one-to-one of the originals. 9/10

I only asked for a refund because there is no option to customize buttons... the default scheme is very bad in my opinion.

Personally, I don't mind paying $29.99 for this. I'm 36 now and remember playing the original back in the early 90's. Before the dark times... Before the modern AAA games empires... People can complain if they want, but I think that they don't understand that the original didn't have any of the features that this does, like Rewinding to undo a mistake, a music player, or a boss-rush mode, let alone a save feature at all. Back then, I had to one-shot the whole game in one sitting. Many of the older games like this didn't have a save function. I don't remember any of this in the original that came out in 1993. I'm happy that I can play this game again with a save function, so I can play the game without having to dedicate hours at a time to beat it, but can safely put it down if I have to break away for some reason and not loose my progress. To me, this is more like having a blast from the past that made me feel like a small child at Christmas again. Nostalgia can be a powerful tool, and a lot of companies catch a lot of flack from people who criticize them as "weaponizing nostalgia", but I'm glad to find a gem like this every now and then, and support a brand name that gave me joy i…
