About Romance MD: Always On Call
This is a Steam version of a hit visual novel game released on the mobile reader app Love 365: Find Your Story by Voltage Inc. It is a collection of romantic, richly illustrated interactive stories with the following premise:
You play as a brand new surgeon assigned to the elite ICU team at a university hospital in downtown Tokyo. Mentored by one of five brilliant, handsome surgeons, you receive strict personal guidance, all the while discovering that the true life of a doctor is a far cry from the ideals you expected. The smiles of your patients and the rare glimpse of kindness from your mentor are enough to keep you going and help you grow.
In these tales of love, the bond between you and your senior surgeon are nurtured at the forefront of healthcare, where mistakes cannot be afforded and hurdles must be overcome.
An opening movie and adventure feature have been added to the Steam release, so even players that have previously read the app version will discover more things to enjoy.

I've played a lot of voltage games, this is deff one of the best ones I have played by them, I'm not even done with one whole route yet but the story is engaging and the art is beautiful. I love the mc in it and how relatable she is. I put this one up there with oops I said yes and masquerade kiss. If anything changes I'll update this review but I can see this being one of my top 5 voltage games.31 found this helpful
All the stories are deep and well-written. I especially like the part that MC and her friend enjoy playing games and reading manga. That really rellevants to otome players like us, isn't it ? Not to mention all the boys respect her bias too. I also love each patient's story. Somehow reading these teaches me more about life. This is a wonderful game.5 found this helpful
I eventually had to stop playing because I simply couldn't handle the writing anymore. While a naive protagonist who lets everyone walk over them is a common trope, it feels completely out of place here given that the main character is supposed to be a doctor. The way other characters constantly disregard her professional wishes and autonomy is incredibly jarring. These tired tropes just don't fit the setting and made for a frustrating experience. The story might improve later on, but I’m not willing to sink more time into a "maybe." This will get a refund, and I will spend the money on one of the other, far more rewarding games on this platform. If you’re still curious, I strongly suggest waiting for at least a 50% discount; at full price, it’s not worth it at all.2 found this helpful
This one hits different when you're actually working in the medical field yourself- surprised myself when I felt for the characters during some points of the story. (Even though, I've just barely finished one character's story- it seems each guy's story is about 10+ hours worth of content if you take the time) Started off with a character who I thought I would hate, turns out he's just like me fr lmao2 found this helpful
