Romance of the Three Kingdoms Maker

Excellent game, unless you have the average TINY attention span. Those folks should stick to Minecraft.

I really wanted to like this game because the idea behind it is honestly pretty interesting. A game where you can create your own characters, scenarios and basically build your own version of the Three Kingdoms universe is something I would normally spend a lot of time with. There is a lot of potential here, especially for people who enjoy strategy games and older Koei titles. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is the language support. The game is basically Japanese-only, which makes it extremely difficult to understand what you're doing if you don't speak Japanese. This is especially frustrating because the game has a lot of menus, settings and different systems that you need to understand before you can really enjoy it. Even after spending some time trying to figure things out, I still felt like I was missing a huge part of the game simply because I couldn't understand the text. There is also an issue with Japanese characters displaying incorrectly on some Windows configurations. Instead of readable text, you can sometimes get strange symbols or garbled characters. Nostalgic, but Com. has too much tactics to let my delegate fleet away with 'nearly' topmost loyalty. Instead, I played Nobunaga: Tenshouki for a better pace as both have similar graphics and game flow.
