Royal Vermin, developed and published by Tobafeu Studio inc., is a deliberately chaotic multiplayer brawler that leans hard into unpredictability, slapstick physics, and the kind of spontaneous fun that thrives in a shared, social setting. Rather than aiming for tight competitive balance or technical mastery, the game builds its identity around instability—both in its mechanics and in its arenas—creating matches that feel less like structured contests and more like improvised, ever-changing spectacles. It’s a design philosophy that immediately sets expectations: this is not a game about control, but about reacting to chaos. From the moment a match begins, the tone is established through its unusual cast of scrappy, vermin-like characters thrown into environments that seem barely held together. The arenas themselves are as much participants as the players, filled with destructible elements, shifting platforms, and hazards that can turn the tide of a round in seconds. Fun game I played with my kids and a few friends. Reminds me a lot of Smash Bros but much less frustrating for kids since they can continue to play even if they got eliminated. Games are fast, the maps and mini games are fun. Its hilarious to play all with cats, it sounds like cats fighting in the backyard. The music is awesome.

Definitely get a controller for this one. However, using a keyboard is still doable and could be an extra layer of handicap for more experienced players. Nice local co-op game!

This game is a great way to spend a fun evening with friends on one or two couches. The controls are very good, the animations are amusing, and the music is lively. But beyond what we might call the basic criteria, it’s the originality of the levels in the paid version that really makes the game stand out. After having played the demo several times, it’s only with the full version that the game’s dynamism reaches a whole new level. Give it a try... you're going to love those little vermins :-).
