RRRR is yet another asset flip/construction kit flip from serial shovelware copy+paste "artists", Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but rip off asset store assets and game tutorials and templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is RRRR, and it's a garbage minimalist 2D retro pixel platformer, slapped together with the godawful Cocos Creator game development engine. It's a copy+paste from someone else's actual work developing a game template to be used to teach people how to make actual games, but of course Dnovel just dumped it pretty much as-is onto Steam with very little in the way of modifications. As a game, it's terrible, of course. Resolution and controls are locked, and gameplay is godawful, because the Cocos Creator engine is garbage, and of course because this isn't a real game, it's just a copy of a template/tutorial pack. For that reason, as a "game", this is below acceptable standards, and can be taken as seriously as the "developers" do, i.e., not at all. Using game construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in terrible sh…

Hare and Raccoon with a gun after a cryogenic freeze with guns is cool. I advise you to take the developer always completes the game, buy while the discount is valid.

almost none the game mechanics are explained at all, there are no checkpoints. the controls feel very slippery (your air speed is way faster than your ground speed), the level design is mediocre, the co-op levels have no incentive to use the 2nd player, and you can press up to jump on controller (which means that moving with the joystick often leads to accidental jumps)

"Bouncy" is how I would describe this game, very different from what I got from watching the trailers, the visuals are very appealing to look at, the Artstyle is very classic Indie, everything about it is both threatening and cute. The Gameplay feels very lightweight, it sometimes feels like I'm controlling a ball trying to navigate through space, there's abit of a delay between inputs & that's gotten me into trouble on many occasions. It got frustrating but not enough for me to rage quit, I got this for cheap during the Steam Sale and for $2 I'd say it's worth it, wouldn't pay over $5 though, It's definitely more a pick up and play once or twice kind of deal. I played on singleplayer but I can easily see this being a fun time playing with someone else, so I'd say I would recommend it for that alone, singleplayer, not so much.
