About Ruins to Rumble

Gameplay:
Ruins to Rumble is a Colony management game in a sandbox side scroller environment.
Gather resources to build your base and defend from AI invading factions.
Recruit more civilians to expand your faction.
Invade hostile factions and pillage islands and Micromanage your civilization.
With a unique mix of genres Ruins to Rumble offers a new perspective on the colony survival and sandbox genres.
Survival:
As your civilization grows so do your enemies, Grow attached to your civilians as they become more experienced.
Losing a civilian is permanent so decision making and strategy is key for survival whether it be exploring, invading, or defending.
Roles:
Each worker in your faction is given a role.
As the player you can only control one civilian at a time but you can set others to do their specified task in a selected area
Roles are the backbone of the civilization, one single person cant do everything so you switch between workers to manage your island.

Factions:
Opposing factions inhabit the world. However some are inherently friendly others might require you to earn their trust.
Each faction has their own team color, islands and relations with each other and the player.
Biomes:
Throughout the world you can explore to discover new biomes.
From the hot sand dunes of a desert island to the freezing cold spikes of an Ice glacier.
Each of these biomes have their own restrictions and challenges.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players universally report that this game is severely underdeveloped and abandoned, with minimal content that can be exhausted in just 10-15 minutes. The core gameplay loop lacks depth and direction—there's no clear progression system, confusing mechanics (like unclear barbarian capture mechanics), and hard caps on progression that leave players with nothing to do once reached. Most reviewers feel the $9 price tag is unjustifiable for an incomplete project that offers little entertainment value and poor guidance on what the actual objectives are.
It's dead Jim. Whatever the ultimate goal of this game was it has been abandoned. Asking for 9$ for this is a really bad joke. Don't fall for it.16 found this helpful
I can't recommend this game at the momrnt (13 October 2019) as there is too little content and almost nothing to do. There is no progress or any reason to develop your base, so the game gets boring in first 5 minutes. Maybe it will be good in future.8 found this helpful
I'm literally so confused at what the point of this is. I spent 10 minutes figuring out what it means to "kill barbarians to get new civilazation" - killing them doesn't give you more civs, but you have to click on them. Maybe add that in the turoial message? And also 12 is the max number of civs you can have i guess, but after that theres no point in playing anymore as the sole purpose of the game, as far as i could see was to get civs. ?? elaboration please5 found this helpful
Well poopy! I bought this game thinking it was neat, and it was!! Well, at least the first 10 minutes was, After I built another room with 8 more bed (you start with 4) I decided its time to go kill these "barbarians"! jumped in the boat with all 4 dudes (you start with them too), went to another island, killed barbarians, and captured 8 new dudes! When I came back to my island I went to build more beds! However, it seems 12 beds is the max you can have. So then I sat there staring at my screen thinking "What in the heck do I do now???" Well, it was a blast of a game! I already beat it! Like I beat the hell out of this game! Mario Brothers on the regular Nintendo was waaaay more challenging than this was! I mean I literally did nothing. (Praying I can get a refund!) TLDR; There is nothing to do, if you buy it you will be getting 5 maybe 10 (max 1 hour if you screw around, drink a beer, talk on the phone and idle for a while) So it makes it waaaaay more than it is worth. I wouldnt even pay .99 for this "game"2 found this helpful
