Sad Virus Town, developed and published by ZERO5GAMES, is an extremely minimal exploration title that commits fully to simplicity, offering a quiet, open environment with a single clear objective. It places players in control of a recurring character from the developer’s series, set loose in a city that serves as both playground and search space. There is no structured narrative, no layered systems, and very little in the way of guidance, making the experience feel more like a self-directed activity than a traditionally designed game. The core loop revolves around wandering through the city in search of a small number of hidden objects. Movement is the primary interaction, with players navigating streets, buildings, and scattered areas to locate items that are placed across the map. There are no obstacles in the conventional sense, no enemies to avoid, and no mechanics that evolve over time. The challenge, such as it is, comes from observation and persistence, as players must carefully scan their surroundings and remember where they have already searched. This creates a scavenger hunt structure that is easy to understand but limited in how much it can develop. The open-world desi…2 found this helpful

Warning: Asset Flip!
Sad Virus Town is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Tero Lunkka, using one of his many shell accounts that he uses to try hide his identity to better scam gamers, took the POLYGON - City Pack game assets from the real developers, Synty Studios, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. The other prime example of the stolen and plagiarized assets from Tero here is the Sucker Virus which was really created by PolyNext. But Tero wants YOUR money for PolyNext's virus asset. It gets worse... "POLYGON - City Pack" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers as well as Valkeala Software/Kendall Studios:

"Trump Cake Mania", asset flipped by Candy games studios/Tero Lunkka
"[url=https://store.steampow…2 found this helpful
A bizarre, oddly charming walking sim where you play a sad virus searching for beer bottles to cheer up. Finding all 8 hidden bottles in the open city is a short but amusing scavenger hunt. It's barely a game, but the absurd premise and cheap price make it a silly, quick distraction.
Yaay, the sad virus now has a whole city!! Poor cutie. Look at his sad face. As always, we're walking around the place collecting beer bottles. I hope after so much beer, he'll finally be truly happy!
If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;)
The further - The better♥️
