Players praise the game's charming art style, cute character design, and accessible card game mechanics that are easy to learn and fun to play. However, common complaints include a small and struggling player population making competitive play difficult, slow early-game progression for collecting cards and currency, and concerns about monetization practices including loot boxes and microtransactions. The game is noted as enjoyable for casual play but may frustrate those seeking an active competitive community or faster progression.
Warning: Loot Box Gambling This game uses random-chance loot boxes as a form of gambling and exploits psychological vulnerabilities. This is done for the profit of the developers, regardless of the harm it causes to gamers. This is completely predatory and unethical. Gamers must be aware of the dangers of this predatory monetization and should avoid this completely.

Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile-tier game! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"Saga of Guardians" looks exactly like one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. While I couldn't find this on the app stores, for all intents and purpose…2 found this helpful

Incredibly cute game, maybe a bit lacking animation wise making the game feel a bit slow at times but there is a good chance i re open it more or less regularly, the characters are cute and the cards are fun offering a good few strategies, at least at first glance1 found this helpful
Enjoyable graphics and card artworks also lovely and easy mechanics, but hard to cellect coins and more cards!1 found this helpful
Really enjoyable and simple cardgame. Sadly the playerbase is quite small, so if you're looking for something competitive this might not be the best option, however it's possible to find games through discord. Some key points about my experience: 1. The early game card acquisition is quite slow, but it gets better. You can get a full collection within 15-20 hours of playtime, and a top tier deck much earlier than that. 2. The developer is very approachable and cares about community feedback, however it's a solo-dev projects, so the changes aren't monumental. 3. The games are quick, so you can play a bit even if you are low on time. 4. You may experience a bug when the cards gets dislodged and cannot be interacted with, however restarting the game fixes it. 4. If you have low-end hardware the game might be a bit resource consuming compared to the similar ones
