✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's focused narrative approach centered on the Sanada clan, particularly the emotional character development of Yukimura and the engaging blend of battle gameplay with town management and exploration that creates an addictive experience. However, common complaints include limited post-story content and replayability compared to earlier Warriors games, lack of free mode for using favorite characters, and performance issues that prevent stable 60fps even on newer hardware, making it feel like a one-time story experience rather than a full game with lasting appeal.

Good game? Yes Still good if you don't like the Sanada like me? Nope If you are fan of Sanada warriors, like Yukimura our poster boy, it is the game for you. Much better story telling than SW4 or SW4-II. However if you want to see the brief history of multiple factions during this warring state, just pick SW4-DX. The updated gameplay and new characters not so signification compare to 4-DX imo, but a good improvement for a long series. Too bad they messed up this new approach in SW5 when telling the story of Oda.

your still better off playing one of the original 1-3 games on PS2 if you want replayability, they made this game just to tell us he was extremely strong..and dies...... and then nothing after no random battles with whatever character you favor no free mode etc, the story ends and so does the game...thats it..saving up moeny to buy the expensive panda mount..leveling nobunaga on the side does nothing you dont really get to use most the other characters and once story is over thats it no more play...

A Warriors Journey, Not just a War. By focusing solely on Masayuki, Young Yukimura and their retainers, Koei Tecmo finally achieves What the mainline Warriors games often miss, The genuine emotional weight. watching Yukimura grow from a cautious boy into the "Crimson Demon of War" gets you more into the character and also wonder from time to time about the real life person, and just leaves in that Wow moment. anyways the game also takes you from battles to managing your castle town, exploring the outskirts of the towns and this creates a great rhythm that is deeply addictive. The gameplay is peek Warriors - Fluid, Flashy and satisfying.
