[h1]Before I played Sapling, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]

I literally had to sit at the main menu for an extra minute just to write this review. Like most bad Unreal games, the game opens up VR even though it doesn't support it. I'm not really sure there's anything to recommend here. It takes longer to read some of the reviews than to play the game. It's an [i]extremely[/i] short story about some plants, with like two animations to watch.

Sapling Positives: + Cute little "story" + Very calm and relaxing + Nice artstyle + Relaxing music + Good voiceover + Its free Negatives: - Almost nothing to do or see - Extremely short length (they were not joking about 5 minutes) If you feel stressed and need some minutes to calm down, play this game. Total Score: 7/10

Short 5-minute parable. Download and try it.

Cute little game. Yes, it's short, but that's okay. It's a very sweet story. I extended my play-time by watching the duck on the pond, wandering around, and taking a bunch of screenshots, haha. I tried to boundary-break the fence (a little) and failed, but I got on top of the house! XD Pity you can't go inside, but oh well. Couple suggestions: It would be nice if there were keybind options. I am left-handed, and it makes WASD very awkward for me to use. It would have been better if I could use arrow keys to move around instead, but not a huge deal when the game is so short. Also, mouse sensitivity was awfully high, it would be helpful if there was a way to turn that down. Again not a huge deal for a 5-minute game, but anything longer, and it might get annoying, heh. Just some things you might want to keep in mind for future games. I'm certainly not going to complain when the game is free-to-play, though, haha.
