Warning: Asset Flip! Save The Bear Cubs is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unreal Marketplace packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a polar bear asset and a truck asset, minimum quality, very basic assets, and dumped them on an Unreal platformer blueprint. They didn't even bother with backgrounds or textures. This is a minimum viable product cash grab. It has no value or merit as a real game. Quarlellle have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work …6 found this helpful
A truly underrated masterpiece. The thing that really engaged me with this game was the heartfelt performance by the mother bear, whilst the story is fairly simple, the acting made you feel the fear and drive to save the cubs. This is all backed up by an incredible soundtrack from genius composer, Kevin Macleod. The gameplay deserves credit for also reigniting the platformer genre after the hole that was created after the disaster known as Mario 64 (making a 3D platformer, seriously Nintendo, abysmal effort).5 found this helpful

this truly is the greatest game I have ever had the fortune of laying my hands on. Every level, its own form of representation. Before this game, I had many mental illnesses and disabilities, like down syndrome and wheelchairism. But now, I have been cured. I can use my legs and my brain. Thanks to "Save the Bear Cubs." The way the fire blocks represented the mothers rage and anger for the countless times her cubs have been kidnapped. The way the constant calculations that you have to do to determine the moveset to use represents the calculations you have to do in life. The way that if you're too early or too late to do a jump, you fail and have to restart represents the way that if your're too early or too late in life problems (relationships) then you just probably just ♥♥♥. This game helped me through my divorce, and it is going to help me in my next one too! 10/10, probably wouldn't play again.1 found this helpful

Broken and unplayable. The game gives you a "game over" screen the moment you jump over the first obstacle.1 found this helpful
