this is literally just a scam ware game, made entirely for profit off of ♥♥♥ blind key bundles for games over a certain price limit. made within game maker in 30 mins, and they couldn't even take the time to code the game properly

"The Pirate's Quest" is a "template" flip. The "developer" filled out a basic template in the craptastic GameMaker Studio (a blight on gaming), changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and put it on Steam as if it was their own game. "The Pirate's Quest" is yet another of literally hundreds of lazy amateur 2D retro hack and slash platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This is basically an empty, barely functional prototype of a game... an asset flip made of a stolen game template and stolen tilesets and sprites. It's worth noting this guy has almost a dozen fake/shell accounts he uses to try hide his identity and further scam and mislead gamers into buying these fake products with fake reviews. The Pirate's Quest is a very good example of arcade games. 2D graphics are cute. Good for people, that like retro style games.
