I just installed it, played the tutorial. Game UI can still be improved, but looks and feels like cozy little fun game :) Most fun part was I can use my laptop touch screen, wish this game was available on mobile.

This is an really cute take on chess (and yes it's *just* classic chess, but with a pixel art JRPG theme + epic music) . It does also have some enjoyable chess brainteasers which work as a standalone puzzle game but also teach a bit of chess strategy. I played on a touch screen PC and it works great without ever having to resort to mouse or keyboard input. I do kind of wish there were some choices for the piece designs - except for the king/queen all are unrecognizable at least to my american eyes. But that's a small quibble & perhaps it's too much to ask for a true JRPG theme that also is reminiscent of classic chess. You can superimpose outlines of traditional chess pieces if you ever get completely lost, though it removes 100% of the visual charm.

A must buy for every chess fan! I absolutely love the puzzles.

Ow , what a refreshing new style of creating a new kind of Chess . The best point first , u can play it anytime , if u got 10mins left or 1h . U don't need to grind , just start and playing. The Artstyle is classic 2D , I like it , it reminds me of old day gaming . The background music is just simple to my likings , and don't annoying me . The animations of the characters is great , not a overflowing brain damage, and not a boring little slash . This game , is for the young and old , and for everyone , who like to casual gaming , and don't need competitive modes . Just one critical point , can't skip the start animations , and have to w8 2-3 seconds . 7 out of 10
