About SCP: Descent
How many people were lost to the eternal stairwell before it was shut away from the world? What happened to those cursed to walk the liminal spaces for eternity?
Descend the stairwell armed with nothing but a torch and some pieces of chalk while you attempt to keep the monsters at bay. You do not take the journey alone as you are guided by recordings of those who came before. Uncover the reasoning behind the stairwell and look for the exit, if there is one.
Approximately 60-90 minutes
- Torchlight: Your light is your best way to navigate the dark depths, but use with caution as those who reside below are drawn to it.
- Stealth Indicator: While moving through the stairwell, every action from running, to direct light, to proximity will increase your chances of getting caught. Manage when to make a break for it to avoid capture.
- Limited Saves: The only way to save the game is by marking the walls with pieces of chalk. Choose carefully when and where to save.
Those who came before have barred the way, solve their puzzles and prove you are worthy to descend.

honestly the most horrible horror game i ever played literally most of the game is just sneaking around holding a flashlight at your feet which gives you low visibility because "they can see your presence" but they ignore the flashlight shining at them if you look up also the ai in the game is very weird1 found this helpful
Game is broken straight from the main menu. Mouse cursor is in a window and cannot reach the menu links.
Only play this game if you are heavily constipated, play it on a laptop while in the bathroom, youll [REDEACTED] your entire soul out, youll [REDACTED] your brains out to the point of being permanently amnestisized, i survived, I REMEMBER, the MTF are after me!! god help you if you decide to play this absolute banger of a horror game

Well, that was kind of a short game. Could be more rooms or more stuff to find. Anyways, that was an enjoyable experience tho. As someone who loves backrooms and all creepy things - I liked it, but I'm glad I bought it with a discount, not a full price. Really very short... :(
Genuinely, I had an amazing time with this game, it was really fun and had great horror aspects. Also amazing to record and post it up on Youtube. I dont know why it has mixed reviews, it was a great game
