See 100s of more local 4-player reviews at my curator page! [/th]
Looks like Bomberman, but plays completely different. Up to 4 local players have to collect scrap (just run over it), use this to build blocks, and then push the blocks to crush their enemies. Enough scrap or collectable extras update their robot. While doing this they have to try to not get crushed by the blocks continously falling down from the sky and of course by the blocks pushed by their "friends". Various game modes, including a multiplayer co-op wave survival and a single player challenge mode, unlockable skins and other extras. Worked perfect with 4 XBox 360 and with 4 XBox One controllers. Unfortunately no cloud save, so you have to go through the unskippable tutorial again if you reinstall... and then start unlocking stuff again. Conclusion: Frantic local 4-player battle game.17 found this helpful
It`s fun but it contains for 1 hour, before you notice that it has only 10 levels and 3 stages (multiplayer). Almost none replay value, what is a must for this kind of game. The mechanic of kicking box can be a little frustating sometimes, but this is only my opnion.4 found this helpful
Please see my curator page for more games that are worth your time
Info Game: This game feels a bit like Bomberman, but instead of bombs, you're trying to push the blocks into your enemies and crush them. The game has different modes in which you can play the game, in all the different modes it is possible to play together with local friends. In some modes it is also possible to fight against your local friends. There are a challenging mode, a survival mode and a battle mode in which you can choose between three different objectives. The battles in challenging mode are very challenging and even the first one took me some tries before I got it. The survive mode isn't easy either. Info achievements: This game will not be easy to complete. Is had achievements for beating X waves in survival mode. Beating X times challenge mode on normal and on hard. Buying all special blocks, skin colors for your character and battle stages. It also has a bit too grindy achievements for playing 300 times each of the different objectives in battle mode. There are also the achievements you exp…4 found this helpful
A Bomberman-style game with charming 3D graphics where you push blocks into opponents to crush them instead of drop bombs. There are 3 types of pushes, 3 core game modes, and a variety of stage hazards you can use to crush opponents in different ways. The story mode isn't much of a story and only has two brief slideshow-style cutscenes at the beginning and end, with 10 stages in total. There are other colors and one other style of character to unlock, but you have to beat story mode on Normal and Hard difficulties multiple times to unlock them. There are also a bunch of different stage types, but most of them look the same with the only difference being the types of hazards on them. Decent fun, albeit much simpler than and not as satisfying as Bomberman.2 found this helpful
Another bomberman style box pushing game. The gamelplay is fairly simple but reasonably engaging. Cute art style and nice music. It's fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K60-4VFWgHk2 found this helpful
SCRAP RUSH!!, developed and published by ACQUIRE Corp., is a high-energy arcade-style action game that revolves around frantic movement, spatial control, and the joyful chaos of turning junk into weapons. Set on the aptly named Planet Scrap, the game throws players into compact arenas filled with piles of metal debris, where victory comes not from traditional combat mechanics but from how cleverly and aggressively you manipulate the environment. From the outset, the game makes its intentions clear: this is a fast, accessible experience built around momentum, improvisation, and constant interaction with the playfield. The core gameplay loop is simple yet surprisingly dynamic. Players control small robots that dash around the arena, smashing scrap piles to collect metal pieces that stack into a visible combo counter. As this counter rises, your robot becomes more powerful, allowing you to push heavier blocks and overwhelm opponents. Scrap can be used both offensively and defensively, whether you’re shoving blocks into enemies, creating temporary barriers, or cutting off escape routes. Because the arenas are tightly designed and often filled with interactive tiles—such as conveyors, …1 found this helpful
