Scrapvival

"Scrapvival" is a dead abandoned Early Access co-op game with an interesting premise and sloppy technical delivery. What do you do in the game? Basically you and your friends (haha, just kidding, if you ask your friends to play abandoned Early Access train wrecks on Steam you soon won't have any) need to fight off swarms of laughably bad enemy models and build a helicopter. Well, that was a brand new sentence. Anyway, the extraction premise for the game might even work, but games like Helldivers 2 and Deep Rock Galactic already nailed the co-op survival extraction experience hard... this "me too" wannabe isn't even in the same ballpark. The developers abandoned this 1 year and 1 month ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than c…

Only downloaded this to play it with a friend, but no matter what we did we could not get into a lobby together. It kept saying it failed to connect every time we tried to join each others game even though both our connections where fine. From other reviews I've seen this is a problem other people are having so I'll be happy to edit this review if they fix this and I can actually play with my friend. EDIT: They fixed it.
