2022: The era of AI has arrived. The world is in chaos after a prototype combat robot - banned by law and awaiting secure destruction by XERA Corporation - became self-aware, escaped and began replication on an industrial scale. Failed attempts to remotely shut down the AI simply triggered a war that humanity could not afford to lose.
Nation turned on nation in a fight for control over resources to defend against the robots. With the attention of the world’s military elsewhere, disenfranchised operatives have gathered to ransack what was left of the XERA facilities, setting up two forward operating bases, Safe Zones on each side of the forest that was the hiding place for mankind’s greatest failure of leadership.
Between these bases there are no rules of engagement. The only imperative is survival.
XERA: Survival is developed by Spotted Kiwi Interactive, an independent development company based in the deep south of New Zealand (Aotearoa) with team members around the world: 4 in NZ, 1 in Chile, 1 in Russia and 1 in USA.

XERA: Survival is a surprisingly fun open world survival shooter that mixes PvP, PvE, base building, and looting into one experience. The atmosphere is one of its strongest points. Exploring abandoned towns, military compounds, and forests while constantly wondering if another player is watching you creates a lot of tension. The gunplay feels solid, and scavenging for better gear is rewarding. I also like that you can build bases and store loot, giving you a reason to keep coming back. The AI enemies provide enough challenge when other players aren't around, so the world rarely feels empty. That said, the game isn't perfect. It can be pretty grindy, the player population isn't always high, and you'll occasionally run into bugs or balance issues. New players may also find the learning curve a little steep. Overall, XERA: Survival is worth trying if you enjoy survival games with high-risk exploration and unpredictable player encounters. it was alright
A lot of cheaters.. free game i know.. but.. where is the support team? no support, no update. Im very sad, because this was a good game. So basically, do not download, dead game, 0 players, and If someone join to you, this is meaning 50% the guy is cheating. We are give a try with our team and we going to be very upset. Thanks the nothing support team (Y)
This world is empty lifeless. Animations are lifeless. Bots are all OP even with heavy armor. building is so broken with no ingenuity it hurts. spent more time on start up then the game itself. Not a good look. could be fun but NO
