✦ AI summary
Players are divided on this roguelike deck-builder. Supporters praise the Slay the Spire-inspired gameplay with an engaging boost mechanic, solid variety of cards and playstyles, and responsive developers, while critics complain about limited class options, slow progression and reward pacing, occasional bugs like turn-ending failures, and feel the $18.99 price point isn't justified for the current content depth.
For $18.99, I can't recommend this game. What I didn't realize before my purchase was that there are only two classes. That's fine and dandy if it wasn't kind of slow on the rewards and variations you can try. Play, die, level up maybe once or twice, unlock hardly anything, go again. The pacing on this reward loop is off---and with only two classes, is even worse. That's not to say you won't see me with 40+ hours in the game (there's nothing else to do right now). But, I also just experienced a bug where the turn wouldn't end. The only solution? Start over without any of that XP which rewards...well, nothing at a good tempo. EDIT: Game so lacking I can't even get 40 hours out of it. Boring. Add more classes. More stuff.2 found this helpful

This reminds me of Slay the Spire, but it feels more action packed with the Boost mechanic. A lot of cards, playstyles and enemies. Definitely enjoying it so far. No bugs either.
Trash. Deleted. A waste of your time.
The game is a lot of fun. If you’re a fan of the Slay the Spire formula, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy this.
A challenging roguelike card battler with plenty of content already available. I enjoy the boost mechanic, as it allows for a great deal of skill expression. The developers are very receptive to feedback and have already made some excellent changes. The game feels like it’s in a good state, with solid performance—no crashes or bugs.
