I'm not categorically against the use of AI - but when the sole gameplay consists of looking at images closely and examining every detail, you can't ignore the whole mess the AI made. Also there are 80 levels but some images get recycled so less would have been more, I think. Thankfully it was fast and easy to click through as it's obviously a game for kids - so my completionist self got a kind of satisfaction at least but it was no fun, I just wanted to get it over with. Even though it's cheap I just can't recommend it.

I cannot recommend this game at all. All the pictures used are AI generated and the differences are really repetitive. After 5 levels you know at what differences to look and the rest of the game is not even fun at that point anymore. It is in no way even worth any money.

"SeaQuest Find the Difference" is a construction kit game. The Russian "developer" used the mediocre (edit: Godot) video game construction kit, copying a basic game template and populating it with AI slop. Basically an "asset flip", but with AI slop generated images instead of assets stolen from someone else... this is WORSE than asset flipping. This isn't a sincerely made game, it was slapped together quickly as a minimum viable product... a hopeless cash grab made for one reason: To generate Steam Keys in bulk for crap random game bundles, just to get a few roubles for polluting Steam with trash. The developer has started polluting Steam with dozens of these AI crapfests, all copy + pastes of the same template, and uses an identical MO to Cute Hannah/Blender Games/Quantum Quiver, shoving as much garbage onto Steam as possible in a desperate, toxic cash grab. AI slop games like "SeaQuest" have no serious value for gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static AI Slop images... it might as well be a web pag…

If you want to be frustrated and don't want your child to talk back to you then buy this game. I am a grown man and with this game I had problems to find the mismatched parts. Because some elements are microscopic or are 2 millimeters run away. There are four hints for the whole game. Clicking on all the elements does not help because the game does not complete the found element. You need to know exactly where the element is, but how are you supposed to know when the elements are too small or cut off by 2 millimeters.

Eh. It's fine for a simple spot the differences game I guess. It's definitely AI generated art assets and it can be jarring for sure. Takes roughly 2 hours to do them all. No controller support and the default volume is LOUD.
