About Seers Isle

Seers Isle is an interactive graphic novel, set in a fantasy version of medieval northern Europe, where your choices impact the fate of a group of characters.

Story:

“The island… It was my prison.
For ages, I roamed the land, helpless, looking for a way out...
... And then, they arrived.”

A group of shaman apprentices set foot on the shores of a sacred island to be initiated to magic.
As they progress through the wilderness, looking for the “Seers”, their spirit-guides, they realize they’re not alone.
Who is this strange horned woman they are seeing in their dreams?

Features:

 • Every choice matters. Each decision you make slightly alters the mood and personality of the main character as well as her relationship with the rest of the group.
 • A huge amount of content: with each playthrough, discover a novel-sized adventure and a slice of the hundreds of hand-drawn images created for the game.
 • An immersive and finely crafted soundtrack: the music adapts and shifts according to your choices and the mood of each scene.
 • Try out our dynamic dialog system: read the story like a comic book.
 • High replayability: choose your soulmate and discover the outcome of your decisions through multiple story paths and endings.

Seers Isle, developed and published by Nova-box, is a narrative-driven experience that sits comfortably between a visual novel and an interactive graphic novel, placing nearly all of its weight on storytelling, atmosphere, and player choice. Set in a myth-infused world inspired by Northern European traditions, the game follows a group of young apprentices who journey to a sacred island to undergo a ritual that will determine their fate as seers. Rather than focusing on action or complex gameplay systems, it builds its identity around introspection, relationships, and the quiet tension of decisions that ripple across the narrative. The story unfolds through a branching structure that allows players to influence both the direction of events and the relationships between characters. Each member of the group has their own personality, motivations, and emotional baggage, and the way players interact with them shapes how the story develops. Some choices strengthen bonds, while others create distance or conflict, and these dynamics play a significant role in determining which paths become available. What makes the system interesting is its subtlety—decisions rarely feel overtly right or …

Beautiful visual novel, 9/10

https://youtu.be/DxJVcxuntkQ Taking an ensemble cast to build a multi-protagonist visual novel around is already a challenge alone but adding in a large amount of backgrounds and art is a great plus.

Veryyy Chill! Really like reading a simple, small book. I wanted something simple and pretty, that's what I got

It's cute! It didn't resonate with me too much and I'd argue there are some shortcomings to this piece, but it's a very pretty experience, limited more by the budget, than by the artistic vision. I can't believe this crew has been releasing VNs for a decade now, and I've never heard about them. I'm quite intrigued to see where they have gone since then. EDIT: Actually, I was curious if I’m correct in my assumption that the game is rather linear and you don’t influence its finale much… But I wasn’t! It seems that many of the story threads that felt to me as if they ran dry without much of a resolution are actually kept behind many different choices and approaches you take to the story, and if you were to allow yourself to play the game more than once, making vastly different choices, you’ll be surprised to find layers of additional content. The fact that I felt as if “my” story was likely the exclusive, intended tale now feels like quite a treat!

just completed my first run. DO NOT READ ANY GUIDES. GO IN BLIND. i'm so glad i did. this game is worth the full price, and i haven't even "fully" played it yet/explored all the paths. you know how some games are designed to be replayed, but you mostly do so just because you want the achievements? with this one, i'm genuinely so curious what the other paths/choices held - i'll replay it, not just for completionism's sake. the writing is genuinely GOOD, i love how character-driven it is. also, as a norse/celtic pagan, i'm very glad and grateful this exists. there's very, very few games out there that cater to pagan sensibilities with so much integrity, authenticity and actual knowledge of our and our ancestors' practices - i'm genuinely so grateful. can't wait to play more. such a unique, original game. one of a kind. thank you so much for this gift. <333333333
on my first run, i destroyed the tree together with arlyn. not sure whether i did a good or bad thing. my mind isn't made up about the seers. also the unexpected graphic sapphic scene was so hot, omg. i took at least half a minute just staring/gasping at it in silence to compute.
