"Senile Zombies" is a badly made and incomplete bug riddled tech demo/homework assignment or something. I suspect at least some of the assets here are flipped, too, although being not-for-profit removes some of the ethical questions. Anyway this is just a really lame wave survival FPS with no content, you blast zombies with "spells" or whatever. Nobody cares. Check out the peak player count if you don't believe me. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. Resolution and controls are locked, no graphics tweaks to speak of, so this is obviously way below minimum acceptable standards for any PC game. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and …

This game is a true masterpiece. Not only are the zombies not even zombies but instead skeletons which I guess might explain the 'senile' adjective but I won't let that slide. It is very poorly optimized, for some reason we are all hot witch girls and there only 10 levels. Anyway game of the year 10/10.

Senile Zombies is an exceptional and imaginative take on the zombie genre, bringing together fast-paced action, strategic gameplay, and a delightfully bizarre premise. From the moment you start, the game's unique charm is evident, blending humor and intense survival mechanics in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. Whether you’re a fan of zombie shooters or just looking for something offbeat and magical, Senile Zombies offers something for everyone. The core gameplay revolves around surviving waves of increasingly difficult zombies, but these aren’t your typical undead. As the name suggests, these "senile" zombies offer a chaotic, unpredictable enemy that keeps you constantly adapting. Each encounter is unique, making every session feel fresh and challenging. The combat system, which revolves around both traditional firearms and a rich variety of magical spells, gives players an array of options to tackle the waves of enemies. The game also offers strategic elements, as managing your mana (used for spells) and upgrading your character plays a crucial role in your survival. One of the game’s biggest strengths is its progression system. The further you get into the …
