I am probably not the target audience, since Im neither an Anime person nor a overly horny teenager nor a fan of visual novels. So take this review with a grain of salt: A (badly executed) connect-two-balls-by-drawing-shapes game with intermittent NSFW animations and visual novel elements in front of every level. The physics of the drawn shapes loves to lag out when you draw large shapes and 2 of them touch each other. Slopware. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles. Shades of Sakura is a simple visual novel that’s easy to get into. It’s light, relaxing, and doesn’t overwhelm you. The story isn’t very deep, but it’s enjoyable enough, and the overall vibe is calm. Not something you play for complex storytelling — more like a chill read to unwind.
