Sherman Commander

I honestly have been waiting for this game for a few months now and I honestly think it needs a little more time in the oven. What is there is a pretty neat experience but falls short on a alot of things at the moment. The intended way to play the game which is in sim mode, plays very awkward since of course, you are tank commander. Ill give the devs credit, the gameplay, destruction, and commanding units is done right. As someone who plays alot of RTS. It works pretty well to me. Im able to command friendly units in all sorts of ways which is nice. Having a "follow" command for my friendly tanks would help a ton though. Gameplay is fun but it feels a bit jank at times. Enemy units tend to spot you way too easily through trees and dense foliage. Making anything but hard terrain useless, enemy tank combat doesnt feel satisfying, Friendly infantry also doesnt really fight as well as I think they should. One of the bigger issues is when infantry are close to my tank. I should be able to click and command my tank to engage enemy units with the gunner moving the coax to engage infantry. they kinda just shoot in one spot so theres a lack of grazing fire with the coax. This game/sim makes me feel more like I'm playing "Panzer Elite" especially with respect to the infantry on both sides. In 2026, about 25 +/- years after Panzer Elite came out, i would kinda expect to see better graphics and real type of behaviors of the infantry. The explosions and gun sound effects are so so. But in the end, its still a good game. Just obsolete in some ways, but playable. One thing that stands out is a decent destructive environment. Most new games like Hell Let it Loose and others don't have that. So that is a huge plus. I recommend it on sale if you like this genre.

Loving the game & the improvements made with every update. There are limited scenarios available currently, however more than enough for 30hrs+ of play. I expect more will be added as updates come.

i would have loved to give this game a good review but i cant i am a hard core ww2 fan and i the m4a3e8 sherman is my faverate ww2 tank but there where to many technical issues i could not see my tank fram rate was abismal and the game sucked if iron wolf would fix the main problems i would buy the game again but in its curent state i cant recommend this game

I would not recommend the game in its current state. Very awesome idea. I thought it was early access. It is not. Ugly graphics, horrible voice acting, and way too expensive for its current state.
