What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise this 2D beat-em-up for its fun combat variety, well-designed bosses, voice acting, and enjoyable co-op experience, with enough puzzles and encounters to break up the action. The main criticisms center on the game being too short (around 4 hours), lack of progression systems or move upgrades leading to repetitive combat, and some players finding the core gameplay loop uninspiring despite the production values.
Ok beat'em up. You can swap between 4 characters on the fly each have its own health and combos. Story is compelling. Overall nothing groundbreaking but it plays ok.
4 found this helpful
Fun 2d beat em up, with enough variation in combat and enemy types to keeps things interesting. You can pull off combos or just bash n crash your way through the levels. Bosses are well designed enough to keep each encounter fresh and its sprinkled throughout with enough mini puzzles, challenges and cut scenes to mix things up as you go through each stage. The fully voice acted cut scenes and the secret encounters are a nice touch. Really fun to play as 2 person co-op and having an extra character to switch in for each player.4 found this helpful
I played until all outfits and achievements. I used the "classic" control scheme and had great fun for 20h.4 found this helpful
for 99 cents its fine, its combat is ok but there is zero progression or upgrades so its the same 4 moves over and over1 found this helpful
This game right here, is an UNDISCOVERED GEM, everyone! Definitely one of the best Beat'em Up games that I've ever got to experience. Gameplay -> Butter Characters -> Loveable Music -> FU** YEAH!! Graphics -> Great Online & Offline Co-Op -> Say No More! (Reviewer's note: Bichiko is already taken. She's MINE!)
Great voice acting, decent writing, atrocious gameplay. Gameplay loop did not hook me.
