This lovely game is indeed SteamOS compatible. I hope Valve catched my details from a recent playthrough.
Truly a work of art, a simple, silent memorial piece to the simple joys in life. Would recommend.
This game is a genuine delight! Obviously the big draw is the incredible hand-drawn visuals, as every detail is full of charm and well worth slowing down to admire, but I was also very impressed by how real the trolley feels: the sounds of it going over a bridge and the way it doesn't immediately stop when you get go of the stick give it an extremely tangible sense of weight. The sound work and atmosphere in this game is just lovely, you can practically smell the crisp mountain air, and if you have any kids who want to play games they'll probably love being able to ring the bell. Score mode felt a little clunky to me but I also just enjoyed going up and down the mountain a couple of times in free play, it was a wonderful bit of relaxation. It's a short experience, but with quality like this and an asking price of only $2, I wouldn't miss it.
Very cute little game. I couldn't stop smiling for the first 15 minutes of playing.
Amazingly beautiful game! So gentle and fun. Basic and absolutely breath taking.
It's not easy to make a game using pencil drawings, and to make the drawings convey well on-screen. The developer has done a great job at making the pencil drawings actually feel like pencil drawings, without them feeling digital again through being edited/altered on the computer. The simplicity of the gameplay also allows you to focus on the artwork/audio and take in the world. Really nice little game.
