About Show It 2 Me
Show It 2 Me is an interactive VR music video created using Tilt Brush's audio reactive brushes featuring Night Club's single, “Show It 2 Me.” Show It 2 Me first debuted at SXSW’s Virtual Cinema 2017. It features art created by Titmouse president and owner Chris Prynoski and Titmouse Creative Director Antonio Canobbio using the audio reactive brushes in Tilt Brush - Google’s virtual reality app.
The viewer will go on a trippy, visual ride featuring demonic cars, pulsating brains, and disembodied tongue-mouths. Named after the song by Night Club, an electronic music duo from Los Angeles that features Emily Kavanaugh and Mark Brooks, Show it 2 Me is co-directed by Mark Brooks and Dylan Carter.

"Show It 2 Me" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, "Show It 2 Me" is a software application that presents a poorly made, crappy music video from someone who presumably got rejected by Spotify for being too crap, I guess. It's certainly not a video game, yet has been hamfistedly shoved onto Steam as if it was one. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook music school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries/open mic nights/band tryouts so turns to Steam Direct to try get their music published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse. Игра "Show It 2 Me" — это веселый и динамичный способ провести время с друзьями или семьей. Простой геймплей: один игрок показывает жесты, а остальные угадывают. Красочная графика, яркие эмодзи и смешные звуки добавляют атмосферу. В наличии разные режимы — от классических до таймера. Минус: иногда жесты могут быть запутанными. Но в целом — отличный выбор для веселого досуга!
