The story is boring and predictable, but dialogues are sometimes fun, princess is cute, and fights are kinda OK. So I would've given it a thumb up if not for a constant tendency to steal your victories. Like, you fight against a boss and 12 minions, lose, swear, reload, lose, swear, reload, WIN!... and them watch a cut scene of the boss making ONE LAST EFFORT and knocking you out with a hidden attack. I mean, I can understand it narratively, but why wasn't this whole fight a cut scene? Just for a joy of robbing a player of a hard-won victory?.. P.S. "Hard moral choices" like "do you want to save your mom OR your best friend" have to go. There, I said it.6 found this helpful
Short game. There's not a LOT of gameplay, I have the feeling they could've done a lot more with it. Story was somewhat OK, the Masters had a lot of wisdom for sure. This game is basically a (somewhat) interactive story with every now and then, some fighting. If it was reverse, I'd probably find this a hidden gem. It's OK, get it on sale though
Wish i could give this the thumbs up, the art is really nice, and the soundtrack is solid. The problem lies in the games combat, which is clunky, and frequently unresponsive. That would be fine if the game didn't depend on the fights to pad out the short narrative. The game also locked up a couple times, just a reset checkpoint fixed it, but i thought i should mention it. I don't regret playing it, but at the full price i can't recommend it, especially with the short runtime. Wait for a steep sale if you are interested.
I'm a fan of Kreuk. It worked well using my quest 3 pcvr point and clicking away.
https://youtu.be/mklMjgp2Dyc Very much a interactive comic book for the majority of play time the number of images and reasonable voice acting is worth taking a look at.
Game freezes on second episode, chapter 29. Mouse controls for combat are awful.
