Just a Simple Rotate Game I like it

"Simply Rotate" is a student project from USC. One of the first things students should be taught in game development is that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's with dedicated 3D cards like the Voodoo3 and the ATI Rage. But the students were deliberately mistaught that's it's okay to release obsolete 2D games in the 3D era of gaming... certainly any professional developer seeing a prospective new hire who doesn't even know about 3D gaming probably isn't going to give them a job. Needless to say if an educational institution taught me incorrectly on purpose, I'd ask for my money back. This time the students were told to make a laughably bad mobile/Flash tier puzzle game where you rotate a minimalist level to get the ball to the goal... seriously, someone paid USC to learn how a game developer and this is what USC taught them? We also have to question what value there is for gamers on Steam when institutions flood the store with low quality 2D video game homework assignments... sure, it might make the students feel good about themselves, but this has no benefit for gamers who have to wade through this stuff to find professionally made 3D games. Buggy and rough puzzle design. Simply Rotate is a short puzzle game that focuses on getting the ball to the green rectangle. I would like to give it a positive review, but I'm unable to do so because some of the levels seem unfair. Some are more challenging than the ones after it (there are a few in the beginner level). It's not that fun to replay every single level if you reopen the game. Additionally, there are a few bugs that can block you from playing the game (i.e., completing a level after you can no longer rotate).

There are some good ideas in here, although I often found the game to be more frustrating than well-designed. I never felt like each new obstacle complemented the movement or limited rotation due to them all being physics-based.

Fun little physics-based puzzle game. Shout out to USC for the freebie!
