About SiNiSistar Lite Version
This is a simple 2D action game featuring Rabiane,
a Sister sent by the Church to exorcise monsters in a cursed land.
The game is centered on themes of masochistic tendencies, yearning for death, as well as despair at being attacked by terrifying beings.
*This is the "light version" of SiNiStar, a game released on DLsite in 2019.
\
Rabiane
C.V.: Haru Amachi
A member of the Church sent to Kessaria, an abandoned city overrun by monsters.
With an abandoned cathedral as her base of operations, she takes on these monsters alone.
Big-breasted.
\
You may choose between a swift but close-ranged short sword
and a bow with limited ammo but will allow you to aim and shoot from far.
Use them wisely to clear the stages.
\
About 40 different kinds of monsters attack Rabiane.
If she runs out of energy, she will meet with various "ends."
\
Be it the thick forests or deep sewerage, the stifling dark pixel art of each stage elicits a feeling of despair.
A total of six stages are available as of the release of this game.

Just plays SiNiSistar2. You will see the same things but its way better. Also the publisher of 2 gives you the patch without giving you the runaround unlike DLsite who just geoblocked germany. At least the Fan subreddit is helpful i guess.9 found this helpful
Terrible optimization. The Lite Version gets stuck on the "Now Loading" screen, making it unplayable. Don't buy until the developers fix it. I'll repurchase it once it's fixed.4 found this helpful
- Buy from DLsite with patch or else you can't unlock stage 7 and 8. (also cgs) + cgs are good2 found this helpful
A pretty fun sub-hour game, recommended on sale.1 found this helpful
Tl;dr: It's fun but surpassed in every way by part 2. Pros: + Great art style + Gameplay is fun if basic + Some bosses posed a decent challenge + Worked on steam deck when I switched steam input on + Some gore and nudity if you get the patch + No performance issues Cons: - You have to go out of your way to get the patch and it costs money - Very short Closing Thoughts: I had fun with this on steam deck; enough so that I bought the sequel (on GOG to easily get the patch). You can skip this one and go straight to part 2 without missing anything but for $5 it's not bad.
Sinisistar has some pretty good animations and atmosphere, the main characters art portrait is pretty, the levels are ominous, the monster designs are creepy, disturbing and creative. The problem with the game is that it's way too short, and the and difficulty is low making it a breeze. At times it feels like classic Castlevania game without the depth but large amounts of hentai content. Most of the death animations and graphic content is blocked for the steam version unless you buy a patch from DLsite, or buy the original version from Dlsite to get the full experience. The game is alright, it has some good qualities, but won't appeal to a lot of people due to the graphic content, it's over very quickly, and weak in comparison to the sequel. If this sort thing interests you, check it out, otherwise give it a pass or play Sinisistar 2 instead.
