About Sir War-A-Lot

When Sir-War-A-Lot’s life of peace and tranquility is shattered by pesky monsters he tries to stay calm, but then one day they spilled his garbage and there are two things you never do to a man.
You never kill his dog.
And you never spill his garbage.
Especially when that man is Sir War-A-Lot, a man with anger issues.

Sir-War-A-Lot is a pixel 2D Indie action platformer where you explore and fight your way through different levels in your quest to kill the monsters who wronged you.
Along with hacking his enemies to death Sir War-A-Lot can also hurl his sword at enemies and recall it at will allowing him to slay over a distance and get creative.
In Sir War-A-Lot, levels are not always traversable by traditional means, but luckily Sir War-A-Lot can use his sword as a make shift spring board to get around – a critical skill to master in order to get through this game.

It's simply one among many, but the game checks all the boxes for a decent platformer. This is the story of a knight who lives alone and peacefully in the forest. It's all good until the monsters arrive and get too comfortable. He tries to persuade them, yells at them, but nothing works. He puts up with them until one of the monsters knocks over his garbage. The knight then loses it, gets a sword, and promises to kill every single monster. The gameplay is conventional action platforming, but it's fluid and somewhat fun. It's all extremely simple because the knight merely has a sword, a jump, and a fireball that must be purchased first. The sword is the game's distinguishing feature. It can be used for normal attack or thrown at stuff. The damage dealt by both attacks is the same. Because the sword is magical, it returns to the knight each time it hits. Even if you miss and it becomes stuck in the environment, you can simply call it back by pressing a button. But, because the sword is bouncy, you want it to get stuck most of the time. This allows you to access higher ledges. The game is linear so you don’t get to travel anywhere you want. You go through five different worlds. E…2 found this helpful
Dont even dare to buy that game... +Good Retromusic +Nice drawn -There is only 1 musictrack playing like forever and that is very very annoying -predictable enemies -sometimes hard jumplevels to compensate the weak enemies -overall very monotone -Too expensive for what u get I dont understand the 4 good reviews, maybe friends of the developers....2 found this helpful

It’s like Mario with a Mega man spice. Fair level of difficulty which require perseverance. Awesome mechanics with the sword. Found some hidden rooms as well. Solid platformer.
