there's always a bit of home to come back to with this one
[b] "Hard as Rock" could have been a relaxing experience with its cool themes, sounds, music, and characters, if only it wasn't aiming at crushing your soul in every opportunity until you develop a phsychotic paranoia about every single choice you make in dialogue and battle. Stumbled upon this old gem. Switching between different POVs are a bit disrupted but I will see how it goes. I would really enjoy a more detailed class system but I guest you cannot ask for too much of an indie game.
[h1] 8/10 A Viking's journey begins [/h1] A fascinating story with decisions that can have harsh consequences. Only real negative is when a small decision ends in disaster and the combat does not have the depth I would like for how often you have to engage with it.
Beautiful tactical RPG. Consequences always matter, but it's not too punishing. The story is great, everything you'd want out of an epic fantasy, but it's pretty short, so you'll probably want the whole trilogy. Grab it right now while it's still on sale!
