[h1]Before I played Sky Mirror · Strolling, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]

Sky Mirror Strolling is a free to play Unity based casual maze/puzzle game where you must negotiate a 3D rendered third person view maze, collecting "positive energy" and beating the clock to finish the maze in time. It's a reasonable idea, and the graphics aren't terrible, but this looks and feels like a mobile app rather than a PC game. Confusingly, you move around the main menu as you would in a mobile app by dragging your finger on the screen, but in the maze itself you're using arrow keys. Resolution and controls are locked, so that brings the game below minimum standards for a contemporary PC game. There's also a really, really annoying repetitive soundtrack, and no audio controls! The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The game might achieve better success on the mobile platforms it seems at least partially designed for.
