Oooughhghh this is a complicated one cos on one hand I ADORE sky. I have 800+ hours as of writing rn (Steam playtime + another 80 hours on PS4) but at the same time its very difficult to recommend this game to anyone because of the flaws... The game is gorgeous! I love dressing up and I love just flying around and chilling... But I can't just fly around and chill, because if I want to dress up in this game where the thing you spend your currency on is cosmetics, I gotta grind. I gotta grind so so much. You can obtain a max of 20 candles a day with about a two hour grind, but some items range over 100, sometimes 200 candles. And these items are time limited to certain events! You gotta grind so hard to be able to get them. Or you gotta grind a little every day regardless of whats going on, not spending anything in case something better shows up. Its hell and I have burnt out multiple times before due to it. This isnt even mentioning how all the prettiest items cost real world money, how they're not really properly adjusted for regional currency. How on the webstore theres an item for loyalty points that'd cost 150+ USD that's just re-used from the chinese version of the game. Onl…

beautiful game with amazing visuals, one thing that's pretty sad is the toxicity of some players but otherwise solo exploration or just hanging around with friends is really nice. i highly suggest actually engaging in the story solo since sky has a pretty bs system for co-op gameplay constantly setting you in different servers from the people you want to play with. other than the greedy company behind the game this is a pretty demanding game and lags if you don't have the right device TwT
