About SLEEP AWAKE

SLEEP AWAKE is an immersive first-person psychedelic horror narrative experience that explores the realm between sleep and death. From Blumhouse Games and led by Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails), SLEEP AWAKE blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination. In a desperate attempt to remain awake, the denizens of the last known city on Earth are reaching a panic crisis of reckless experiments in their effort to avoid The HUSH, the inexplicable disappearance of those who sleep.Playing as Katja, you must survive the devotees of various depraved death cults and try to stay awake. Solve the puzzles of this mysterious world to shatter the horrors of the past.  Key Features:
  • A psychedelic trip of the senses: Hand-crafted environments combine with a stunning color palette, unique FMV integration, and bending light to submerge the player in a cosmic horror like they’ve never seen before.
  • A world where sleep means extinction: Step into a unique setting, where an unfathomable phenomenon means that humans are disappearing when they fall asleep. The result is a warring world where dogmatic factions insist they have the one true solution for staying awake.
  • Arresting audio experience: Musician Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails has crafted an auditory experience to create heart-pumping moments and exhilarating dream-like sequences.
  • Survive to save the ones you love: Stealth and wits are your only weapons against the warped minds and bodies of humanity’s last remaining citizens. Avoid their twisted experiments, solve the puzzles of a distorted reality, and save the remaining good in the world.

absolutely stunning game visually with an amazing soundtrack. Not the longest game, but it makes up for it in its uniqueness and ability to explore complicated subject matter.

WOW... Loved this from one end to the other. Amazing ride through a dystopian hellscape with a heaping helping of phychedelic tripping thrown in for good measure. Add in some heavy guitar thrashing and its safe to say , Your not in Mr Rogers Neighborhood. I found it a little disorienting when your not sure if your in a so called reality, Or in a dreamscape but I imagine thats by design. I simple didnt find a single thing I disliked about this. The game carries you right along and never lets go of the tension and fear that it creates . This thing seriously needs to win an award for something. Its that good. Also should note that it played fine on my old graphics card that isnt even supported anymore. Congrats devs on a great experience. Thats what its all about.

This is one of the worst games I have played. The dystopian world is uninspired, the gameplay is a walking simulator (and not a good one like Death Stranding), the puzzles are few and far between and bad, the enemies just hit you with unsharpened sticks, the game thinks throwing up "scary" images on occasion constitutes horror. The only merit I can give it is that is doesn't let you go back to where you shouldn't go. And that is very little.

Phenomenal game, pure eye candy and amazing unique plot. Absolutely love the visuals, this is more of a walking sim with light puzzles, mechanics similar to "Soma" like game but this is 10x better. Can't wait to finish my playthrough I'm so intrigued with the story!
