About In Dark Sleep
About This Game
In Dark Sleep, you play as a young man who wakes up at midnight in a state that feels unnatural. A home that should be familiar slowly turns into something unfamiliar, distorted, and hostile. Every step reveals fragments of strange events, unseen whispers, and traces of another reality bleeding into the real world. The deeper you go, the thinner the line becomes between dream, memory, and another world. Is this only a nightmare? Or has your second sleep brought you somewhere humans were never meant to be?The Second Sleep is a story-driven atmospheric horror game focused on exploration, psychological tension, and slow-burning fear. This is about realizing that you may have never truly woken up.

This game was strangely spooky! It builds tension well, but it definitely needs more polish... I noticed some complaints about it being too dark but that's actually part of the mechanic! If you enjoy somewhat slow burn horror with a quirky story, give this game a try! Its a worthy effort by an indie dev! https://youtu.be/oCYBYcEr2kk Cheers!2 found this helpful

Can't see anything. gamma just puts a white film over the gameplay. house layout is so confusing accompanied by the darkness makes it nearly impossible to navigate. "click to continue" is too delayed... I would click to continue and it would only actually continue after 15 secs, also if "click to continue" is going to imply the keyboard... make it say "press E to continue or something. When we got a knock at the door, I had no idea to look down, the package needs to stand out more so the player knows to look there. Opening the door was delayed as well, I tried opening it and it took me 5 times until it actually opened. Graphics look great though and I think this game has a lot of potential, it just needs a lot of cleaning up.
