About SLI-FI: 2D Planet Platformer

https://shared.akamai.steamstatic.com/store_item_assets/steam/apps/668230/extras/generalinfo.gif
SLI-FI is a 2D planet platformer. It's all about jumping from planet to planet and collecting coins to unlock more worlds and levels. While jumping from planet to planet you always have to get re used to the atmosphere because planets vary. Some planets have high gravity, others really low gravity. Some planets even bounce you off or are made out of water and you can jump through them.

Level Unlocks

You have to collect coins in the levels to unlock new worlds and more levels! Each level contains 3 coins you can find. Some are harder to reach and some really easily.

Highscores

Every level starts with a score of 10.000. The longer it takes you to complete the level, the smaller your score will be. Additionally you can make your score rise again by collecting coins, destroying barrels or doing cool tricks.

Physics

Every planet has his own atmosphere. Some are broken, stronger or weaker. As soon as the player enters an atmosphere, he will be attracted by this planet.

Co-op

Share your fun with a friend! You can play with one of your Steam friends and try to solve puzzles and finish the levels.

Edited review as the final world has come out. Positives: - A simple game in concept, but hard to master. Playing through levels slow and carefully is sufficient to finish the game, but using "slingshots" and moving quickly across planets is very satisfying once you have a hold on movement. - The game is very short, with it being possible to fully complete in probably an hour if you are very fast. (This is a positive for me as I tend to like compact games that can be replayed) - The co-op is pretty fun, and sort of reminds me of Portal 2 in a way. Neutrals: - Some of the enemies such as the slimes in the water planets and laser turrets are very annoying and inconsistent. They aren't impossible to get past however. Negatives: - This game would heavily benefit from some type of jetpack or something to do to save yourself once you leave a planet's atmosphere. Throughout my time playing this game, my most common death was misjudging a jump and immediately flying off into space with no way to recover. Just adding some way to reorient yourself and make it to safety would make the game much more fun. Having a stricter time before death would be fine this way as well. - A minority of th…

If you think this game is easy you haven't made it to world 2 and 3 yet.

A good little game which fits more for mobiles. A good difficulty that increases according to the levels. Slightly repetitive music. With an price of 3.99 €, we expect a little more finishing and research in the style of the game. A price like 99cts would surely attract more players.

Nice little game, the premise is simple but the gameplay is suprisingly challenging. I was givin a key from the developer, nice guy/girl by the way. Check it ouy if you want some simple fun. I would like to see controllers supported in the future.
